Current ways to give

Visitors may mail a contribution to the foundation’s published mailing address or submit a donation-interest form to request current secure giving instructions. Submitting an online interest form does not charge the visitor or complete a contribution.

No financial account information in website forms

Do not enter credit-card numbers, bank-account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other financial credentials into any Leah Matters contact or donation-interest form. The site is designed not to request that information.

Future online payment processing

If online checkout is activated, payment details will be collected by a verified, PCI-compliant hosted payment processor. LeahLivesOn.com will not intentionally store full payment-card or bank-account information in its own form database. The processor’s terms and privacy practices will also apply.

How contributions may be used

Unless the foundation accepts a restriction in writing, contributions may be used where the mission reasonably needs them most. Public descriptions of possible work are priorities, not guarantees that a specific gift will purchase a specific item or produce a specific result.

Restricted gifts and sponsorships

A requested designation does not become a binding restriction unless Leah Matters Foundation expressly accepts it in writing. Proposed sponsorship benefits, recognition, event support, donated services, and restricted gifts should be confirmed before payment or performance.

Acknowledgments and tax statements

The foundation may provide a contribution acknowledgment when accurate contact information is available. This website does not currently promise tax deductibility. Donors should request current organizational and acknowledgment information and consult their own tax adviser before relying on a contribution for tax purposes.

Refunds and errors

If a future electronic contribution is made in error, contact Leah Matters promptly. Refunds will be considered based on the facts, available funds, processor rules, applicable law, and whether the contribution has already been committed or spent. Processor fees may not always be recoverable.

Privacy and donor recognition

Donation-interest information is handled under the website privacy policy. Leah Matters will not publicly identify a donor, tribute, or memorial designation without permission or another lawful basis. Donors should not submit private medical information or sensitive details about a child.

Questions or corrections

Use the contact page for questions about a contribution, mailed acknowledgment, sponsorship, data request, or suspected error. Website forms are not monitored for crisis support.
